     Playing Fields. Three ball fields and a soccer field in the Complex provides our community with the necessary facilities and playing fields for such seasonal sports as baseball, softball and soccer.

     KidTopia Playground and Pavilions.  The Park Complex offers a playground, picnic area and pavilions for use throughout the year.  Pavilion rental fee is $25.00 for two (2) hours. To reserve a pavilion contact Town Hall at (256) 728-2007.

    Gym. A new gym has just been completed in the Town Park Complex.  This facility will provide volleyball, basketball, recreational programs and various classes throughout the year. For information on events, etc. contact the Park and Recreation Department at (256) 728-7400 or (256) 202.0025.

     Walking Trail. Beginning at Grant Town Park Complex, the walking trail provides a great way to exercise during most months of the year. Winding around the park, the trail continues along Dr. Olon C. Tucker Drive and 5th Street, East where it ultimately connects pedestrians to Main Street. Two (2) miles can be logged by walking from the starting point at the park to Main Street and back. For the safety of those using it, this is a Pedestrian Only trail and motorized vehicles are not permitted.

     A recreation center is available to the public for special events such as wedding receptions, reunions, etc. at a rental of $100.00 per day. For reservations call Town Hall at (256) 728-2007. 

Dr. Olon C. Tucker Adult Fitness Center

     The fitness center consists of elliptical machines, exercise bikes, weight machines, etc. and is for ages 21 and older.

     The facility is open from 4:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. 7 days a week.  Fees are $10.00 per month and due at the time of signing the agreement, in addition to $5.00 for a key fob at the initial signing which will be returned to the member if returned in good, re-usable condition at the termination of members’ agreement.

     Memberships may be obtained at the Town Park Gym (401 Kidtopia Park Road) Monday – Friday or at Town Hall (4766 Main Street).
