Business License

A business license is required for any company, firm, or individual conducting business within the municipality or the police jurisdiction of the Town of Grant. With the exception of certain delivery license and insurance companies, all businesses are on a gross receipts schedule. Insurance companies are governed by Section 11-51-120/124 of the Code of Alabama, 1975.

New Business – License are required prior to start of business. Businesses who commence business on or after July 1st, shall pay one-half (1/2) the annual license for that calendar year.

• Completed and Signed Business License Application

• Completed Citizenship Forms, if applicable to the business

• Proof of State Certification is required for many types of business

• Required payment
